Boise, Idaho · family-run since 1994
The shop that texts you photos before it touches a wrench.
Every repair starts with pictures of the actual part on your actual car, a price, and a plain explanation of what happens if you wait. No approval, no work. It's why our customers' kids are now customers.
How we work
- Drop off or wait. Coffee's bad, wifi's good, and the loaner bikes will get you downtown in eight minutes.
- You get the text. Photos, findings, prices — standard and premium options where they exist, with an honest "skip it" where they don't.
- You approve, we fix. 24-month/24,000-mile parts-and-labor warranty, and the old parts in a box if you want to see them.
Straight answers
Do I need an appointment?
Oil changes and battery tests are first-come, first-served — most are done in under 45 minutes. For repairs and diagnostics, call (208) 555-0142 or book online; same-week slots are normal, same-day happens more often than not.
How does photo-first approval work?
Before we repair anything, you get a text with photos of the actual part on your actual car, what it costs fixed, and what happens if you wait. Approve by reply. No approval, no work, no exceptions — that's been the house rule since 1994.
How much do brakes cost?
Pads and rotors run $189–$329 per axle on most cars and light trucks, parts and labor, depending on parts quality you choose. We quote both a standard and a premium option and tell you honestly when the cheaper one is fine.
Is the diagnostic fee really credited?
Yes. Diagnostics are $89, and if you approve the repair with us the $89 comes off the bill in full. If you take the car elsewhere, you keep the written diagnosis — it's yours either way.
What warranty do you offer?
24 months or 24,000 miles on parts and labor, whichever comes last on our books — if a repair we did fails, the fix is on us. Tires and wear items carry their manufacturers' warranties.
Do you work on European cars and hybrids?
Yes — German and Japanese makes daily, hybrids including high-voltage battery health checks. The two things we send elsewhere: body work and transmission rebuilds, and we'll name the shop we'd use ourselves.
