Dr. Maya Brooks, DDS
Founding Dentist · Family & Preventive Care
Dr. Brooks earned her DDS at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry and spent six years in community clinics before opening Brightside in 2019. She's the dentist anxious patients ask for by name: patient, funny, and famous for narrating every step before she does it. Off the clock she's chasing two kids and a rescue beagle around Zilker Park.
Dr. Daniel Ortiz, DDS
Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry · Invisalign Provider
Dr. Ortiz trained at Texas A&M College of Dentistry and completed advanced residencies in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He leads our Invisalign and whitening cases and has a perfectionist's eye for smiles that look natural, not "done." When he's not in the office, he's restoring a 1974 Airstream and arguing that Austin's best breakfast taco is on South First.
